Surf Lifesaving Courses and Education

Each year our highly qualified volunteer trainers equip our members (members of the community just like you) with vital life-saving skills. Your Bronze Medallion or Surf Rescue Certificate (SRC) are the starting points to becoming a life saver and participating in surf life-saving operations (beach patrols) or helping out with water safety at our Sunday Nipper programme. But your journey doesn’t have to stop there!  There is a range of education pathways you can follow to further enhance your lifesaving qualifications including advanced resuscitation, first aid, driver and crew the Inflatable Rescue Boat (IRB).
