3 For The Sea

3 for the Sea was held on Sunday morning.  A great opportunity to clean up our beach after all the rain we have had.  Lizzie Welborn took discussed with our Under 9, 10 and 11 the dangers of plastic in our beaches and waterways and how long it takes to break down… which is never!

These kids then spent the best part of an hour cleaning up Newport Beach with the help of parents and Age Managers. Well done to all the nippers who really got involved in this activity and thank you to Lizzie for giving her Sunday morning to our Nippers. This is a program that is very important to our Nipper program as we can never take our beautiful beaches for granted.
