Clubhouse extension concept open for comment

For the last 9 years, the Club’s Building Committee has been in discussion with Pittwater and Northern Beaches Councils regarding our much-needed Club extensions to get extra storage space/facilities and rationalise the existing Club layout so that it can be better utilised by all sections of the Club.

Council has now agreed that our Club House expansion proposal has merit and has engaged a range of expert consultants to prepare a DA submission which we hope will be lodged in early February 2021. As part of the DA, process Council has now embarked on a Community Engagement programme (see link below).

Council has organised for a Community “Have Your Say” process which will run from Tuesday 1st December 2020 until 21st January 2021. As part of this process, the Club’s DA plans and other material will be posted online, and you will be able to provide your comments on the Club’s long-awaited DA initiative. It would be beneficial to our cause if you could log into the “Have Your Say” site and post some positive comments in support of the Club’s plans so that we can keep the momentum going towards being able to finalise and lodge a DA for our Club expansion plans. Please also feel free to encourage your friends and colleagues to express their support for our plans.
