A scrutineering course is on Saturday, 7 October at Newport SLSC

From Marcial Nunura ([email protected]),
Surf Sports Manager, SLS Sydney Northern Beaches:

We have managed to secure a scrutineering course on the northern beaches to be held on Saturday 7th October at Newport SLSC. The course will run from 9.30 am – 3.30 pm.

Ideally I would love to have one or two people from each club (involved in surf sports) taking part in the course. Having more people capable of doing scrutineering in the branch will make it easier to have more scrutineering sessions closer to each club.

In order to become a scrutineer you will need to be a qualified surf sports official already and we will ask you to help with scrutineering a couple of times throughout the season. In an ideal world if we had enough people qualified you would only need to do one or two sessions per year and we could ensure they are either at your own club or at a neighbouring club.

Please pass this on to you officials and try to encourage a few people from your club. I believe it would be very beneficial to have one or two (or more) scrutineers at each club.

Any general scrutineering enquiries can be directed to Gary Cook from our club on Email [email protected] or Mobile 0418 296 180.
