- The Newport IRB team headed down to Mollymook for the SLSA IRB Australian Championships on 21 July.
- This was the first IRB Aussies that have been run in the last 3 years due to COVID.
- The 2022 IRB Championships overall saw 240 events take place over four days of racing involving 32 Clubs from across four states.
- The Newport team went in strong and came out with some great results including a few medals!
