Adrian Hill is the new SNB Branch Director of Lifesaving

Words from SLS Sydney Northern Beaches Facebook Page

When Adrian Hill became a Life Member of SLS Sydney Northern Beaches last year he was absolutely chuffed. It was great reward for all the hard work he has done in surf life saving since he started out with South Narrabeen SLSC 22 years ago and, especially, with Newport SLSC over the past 15 years. He has certainly been involved in numerous roles in education, power craft, radio/surfcom, duty officer – there’s not much he hasn’t done – but now he faces one of his biggest challenges as the new Director of Lifesaving of SNB Branch.

”I think after being behind the scenes for the past 15 years it was time to step up and make some changes,” Adrian said. ”It has been an aspiration. I was going to apply a few years ago but I didn’t out of respect to Rohan (Fisher) when he put a nomination in but, yeah, now I think it is my time to have a go and take the Branch to the next level.”

Adrian takes over the reins from Glenn Tolan.

Congratulations Adrian!
