Surfcom Sydney Northern Beaches is looking for new recruits for this season
Are you interested in expanding your Surf Life Saving and Support Services Experience?
Or in giving back to Surf Life Saving without gaining your Bronze Medallion or patrolling the beach?
Expand your knowledge and experience by working in the Sydney Northern Beaches Surfcom Radio base, coordinating all radio communications for all 21 beaches.
Surfcom operators will be responsible for monitoring the sign on and sign off for all patrols, coordinating radio communications for all incidents during patrols, calling Emergency Services and keeping track of all radio communications between patrols and other support services.
New recruits will need to be able to commit to pre-season training and either a full or half day shift every 4-6 weeks (although always welcome to come more often!). Very flexible rostering to work around other life and SLS commitments.
