Glenn Langley, Newest SLSNSW Life Member

Because we know you like trivia – here is an interesting fact, courtesy of Newport member Gary Cook.

Since 1949, there have been 279 SLSNSW Life Memberships awarded out of a total of 75,000 possible members.  Today, there are 124 of these Life Members still living.  Glenn Langley was awarded access to this exclusive group at the recent SLSNSW AGM.

Glenn is only the 4th in our club to receive the honour behind the Late Bert King OAM, Late Peter Liddle and Gary Cook.

With a common passion for life on the beach and a dedication to their community, these individuals deserve our praise.  A nominee must have provided distinguished voluntary service to SLSNSW for at least 20 years to be considered.
