Newport Boat Carnival | 16 November by Michael King

A great day for Newport boaties at our annual surfboat carnival. The open men, Hellfish won and the u23 girls, Thunder, won both u23s and open women. Both crews repeating their success from the Bilgola carnival. The Reserve men, Sea Cucumbers also won their final, while the reserve women, Nudibranchs finished third, as did the open women Jacksons. We also had a brand new junior crew have their first start. All packed up by 2 pm, the bar finally shutting at 7. A big day.
