Congratulations to those Newport members who were at Bulli last weekend for the Interbranch Championships where they helped SNB win for the 3rd year in a row, beating Sydney by 12 points and it came down to the last event – the open male Taplin which was won by SNB ( Zach Morris, Isaac Smith, Jayke Rees) but all of our competitors were outstanding in competition and outside of the competition area.

Nutri Grain Ironman round 2 and 3 were held in November and our Newport results are:

Round 2, Burleigh Heads

• Lizzie Welborn 2nd
• Max Brooks 18th
• Charlie Brooks 16th
• Jackson Borg 19th

Round 3, Bulli

• Lizzie Welborn 2nd
• Max Brooks 6th
• Charlie Brooks 18th
• Jackson Borg 7th

Overall after 3 rounds

• Lizzie Welborn 4th
• Max Brooks 9th
• Charlie Brooks 22nd
• Jackson Borg 12th
