Rainbow Beaches on 18 & 19 February 2023 - Newport Surf Life Saving Club

On Saturday 18 February and Sunday 19 February, we are joining the SLS Rainbow Beaches celebration!
Rainbow Beaches celebrates the strength and diversity of our club and community and gives visibility to the message that everyone is welcome at the beach.
Our club is committed to fostering an inclusive environment where diversity is celebrated and encouraged – a true reflection of our local community. We welcome all members irrespective of age, gender, disability, cultural and linguistic background, or sexual orientation.
For our patrolling members who want to join in, we will be adding extra colour to our uniforms and tent with sweatbands, headbands, hats, or zinc – the basics will be supplied, but more fun if you BYO rainbows!
On Sunday, our Nippers will join in the celebrations with face painting and other exciting activities.
It looks to be a fun day with clubs up and down the coast showing their colours.
