Summer Of Surf Wrap Up

The 2021/22 Shaw and Partners Summer of Surf Series has concluded with the Shaw and Partners Shannon Eckstein Ironman Classic.
There were over 700 competitors in this series with wild conditions, dashes for cash and close racing making it an exciting event for both competitors and spectators.
A big congratulations to our incredible athletes as we all know how much goes into racing at this high level.
Our Mixed Taplin team, pictured above, finished 3rd at the Shaw and Partners Shannon Eckstein Ironman Classic and 1st at the Shaw and Partners North Bondi Surf Club Classic.
And a special mention to Jackson Borg who won Most Valuable Player (Jackson had the highest total score in all individual events – board, ski, swim, iron). Lizzie Welborn came second.
