Surfboat Branch Championships

  • The Surfboat Branch Championships were run on Saturday, 18 February, at Collaroy, and a fairly successful day for our two women’s crews.
  • Our u19 Stingers, Jasmine Bauchop, Hannah Grice, Alani Barros and Zoe Ellis, found their rhythm into the fresh nor’easter in the final, to turn first and stay there all the way to the beach.
  • The u23 Nemos Jenna Powell, Naomi Bronier, Kate Wilson and Claire Ford rowed their best races of the season to finish fourth overall.
  • A great lead into the state championships in two weeks.
