2023 NSW State Age Championships

Thursday 23 February – Sunday 26 February

Our little Newport crew went down to Queenscliff and took home plenty of bling. Thank you to the amazing group of parents who helped to organise each of the four day’s details. Also, thank you to our coaches Sam Capell, Tayla Tullett and Isaac Smith, who all came down to visit over the four days.

U11s:

  • Molly & Sarella – 4th Board Rescue
  • Molly Y – Silver Ironperson & Swim, 11th Board
  • Sarella S – 8th Ironperson, 17th Swim

U13s:

  • Gold to Sadie & Matilda in Board Rescue
  • Sadie M – Silver Ironperson & Board, 8th Swim
  • Matilda Y – Bronze Ironperson, 5th Swim, 9th Board
  • Jack W – 17th in the Board race
  • Tom S – Bronze Ironperson & Swim

U14s:

  • Gold to Swim Team (Abi C, Alannah P, Charli B & Sarah S) and the Board relay (Charli, Abi & Alannah)
  • Abi & Alannah – 4th Board Rescue
  • Alannah P – Silver Swim, 4th Ironperson, 5th Board
  • Sarah S – 20th Swim
  • Abi C – 13th Swim, 18th Ironperson

Congratulations on an incredible achievement for the whole Nipper team! 87 points from less than 20 athletes racing.
